March 2020 - May 2024
As Communications and Fundraising Manager at Westside Infant-Family Network (WIN), a nonprofit mental health organization serving families across West Los Angeles, I led strategic communications, marketing, and development efforts to raise awareness, strengthen partnerships, and increase funding for our trauma-informed programs.
WIN provides early intervention and wraparound mental health services for young children and their caregivers, ensuring basic needs are met so families can heal and build resilience together. My work focused on four core pillars:
Social Media & Digital Engagement: I created and managed mission-aligned content across platforms, including campaigns for mental health awareness, parenting tips, heritage months, and community partnerships — increasing reach and deepening online engagement.
Email Marketing: I developed targeted email campaigns for donor engagement, fundraising appeals, and program updates, helping grow WIN’s supporter base and donor retention.
Mental Health Campaigns & Research Initiatives: I supported the rollout of major campaigns tied to community-based healing and early childhood trauma, including partnerships with ACEs Aware and Black Women for Wellness.
Partnership Development: I managed relationships with corporate and community partners including Hello Bello, LA Care Health Plan, In-N-Out Foundation, Venice Family Clinic, and The Rare Project — leveraging these connections for in-kind donations, cross-promotion, and event sponsorships.
In fundraising, I led the strategy and execution of WIN’s signature donor events — overseeing planning, communications, and sponsorship outreach. My efforts contributed to raising over $100,000 in combined individual and institutional giving.
I also played a key role in stewarding relationships with foundations such as the Weingart Foundation, California Community Foundation, Ahmanson Foundation, Tikun Olam Foundation, Keck Foundation, and the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation, helping to support proposal development and ensuring alignment in messaging and impact.
